Briley’s 1st Birthday

So excited to join in celebrating Briley’s first birthday! We actually started out with five balloons for these pictures. That was a struggle to begin with since there is a helium shortage in our county (what?). Then the wind kept blowing the balloons into the box, sticks on the ground, etc and they were popping one by one! Thankful we got some great shots with them before they were all gone!

We then let Briley try some cake because what’s a first birthday shoot without a little cake?? She wasn’t quite having it though haha! She got a little upset with us that the icing was sticking to her fingers, and I don’t think she knew she was supposed to eat it! All in all it was a great birthday session that I was so happy didn’t get rained out!

We chose to do this session at Melton Hill Park. It’s one of my favorite outdoor locations because of all the beautiful, trees, lakefront, and walkways through the tall grass! Check out some of my favorites from the session below!
