Burnette Family

This mama contacted me because she wanted to get some first birthday pictures done for her littlest one and also some family pictures at the same time. She wanted to have them done at their lake house since it’s such a special place to their family and where they enjoy spending so much time together. I absolutely love when families want to do their photos at a place that is extra special to them. Don’t get me wrong, a park or garden can make some beautiful photos too, but just being somewhere that holds meaning to your family makes the session that much more magical!

I photographed this gorgeous mama when she was pregnant with Penny, and at this session I couldn’t believe that a year had already gone by. Penny was loving all the attention and balloons and cake that we had for her to enjoy during the session! I also especially loved seeing the bond that these three siblings already had and getting to capture some moments of them together!

The sun decided to show up for us on these images as well! The sunset was gorgeous, and the photos had just the perfect backlight to make this family session so beautiful! Check out what we were able to capture below.
