Lawson

I was so excited to get to do my first fresh 48 session with Lawson and his family! There’s just something so special about them! You get to meet the new baby, and seeing the unique bond that the parents have already made with their newborn in those first few days.

This session had a few challenges. There was no natural light to work with in their room, and we also had to make sure that Lawson didn’t need to go to the NICU. He was born several weeks early, but thankfully he was happy and healthy for his first photo shoot!

My favorite part of newborn photo sessions has got to be the detail shots. Baby feet just make me melt every time. And those little lips, nose, eyelashes, it just doesn’t get any cuter! I also love showcasing all the details in the hospital room or any personalized items the family may already have for their baby. Lawson’s mom and dad are Tennessee Volunteer fans, so of course they had his first UT apparel ready to go!
