Kingston, TN,  Newborn,  Studio Session

Wyatt

This was my first newborn session in my home studio! I was so so excited to get to try out all my different props, baskets, blankets, and setups! Wyatt was the perfect little boy to let me test out my setup too, and as you can tell from the photos below, he did amazing!

Newborn sessions tend to take quite a bit longer than family sessions, but that’s just because I want to make sure to not rush anything and give baby plenty of time for breaks. I want to also make sure mama is comfortable, and that I am practicing any safety techniques that are needed while swaddling or posing baby.

Another thing to be prepared for with newborn sessions is that editing time can take a little longer. One of the best parts about a session with me is that you get your images back very quickly (usually within one week), but I would say that newborn sessions are definitely the ones that take the longest. Getting that skin tone right for newborns can be a little tricky and take a little more time, but all the patience needed for these sessions is definitely worth it in the end!
