The Perfect Evening at Lakeshore Park
Lakeshore Park is one of my favorite spots for maternity photography in East Tennessee, and this session reminded me why. The weather was absolutely perfect with soft light and that open, golden feel that makes maternity photos glow. It’s the kind of setting that does half the work for you, giving us room to relax and let real moments happen.
From the moment we started, Carli was glowing, excited, and clearly counting down the days until she meets her little boy. That kind of joy is impossible to fake, and it shows in every photo. Also, I could tell Hunter felt the same way and together they made my job easy!
The Sweetest Personal Touches
I loved Carli’s choice of maternity outfits. Besides being thoughtfully picked to show off her beautiful baby bump, the way she carried herself made each look feel effortless. The right wardrobe can completely transform a maternity session, and Carli certainly nailed it.
What especially made this session unique was the props Carli brought along. She thought of everything: their ultrasound photos, a tiny onesie, and the most precious little baby booties. These small, personal details turn a beautiful photoshoot into a true keepsake. It was a great way to capture not just how Carli and Hunter looked, but also how much they already love their baby.
